Are new memberships on the upswing? Why don't we get more aggressive in recruiting drives? We can even recruit on myspace, challenge beliefs, get people signed up.
Is it legal for us to sign people up? Or do they have to go and do it themselves? The problem is not the message, I think the problem is that we don't have enough voters. How can we ever win if we just don't have ENOUGH VOTERS? We're playing against basic math here, we're hoping the voters of the other side to not go lol.
So shouldn't we be focusing on getting as many people signed up to the LP as possible? Let's get a chunk of that zombie vote, then we can educate them along the way.
I believe that most people don't even know anything about the Libertarian Party in NJ, even though most people either are, or lean libertarian. Most people are confused, they have been brainwashed by public education, so they don't know what they believe in. There are people that truly are anti-libertarian, but they aren't as plentiful as you would imagine.
It's true. Many liberals are libertarians and they don't even know it, they just think that people will die without welfare, people will only suffer, but it's not their fault they think that, THAT'S WHAT WE ARE BEING TAUGHT IN SCHOOL! It's bullcrap.
We can recruit anyone.
Democrats: Explain to them how the free market is NOT corporatism; also how the free market is the most humanitarian. Has the "War on Homelessness" worked? We have more homeless now than ever.
Republicans: their party is full of fiscal liberals, this war is bankrupting this country.
Green: property rights is the best thing for the environment.
Socialist Party: same argument to liberals lol
We have the CORRECT philosophy, so we should never lose a debate.
neoliberalism was a miserable failure in Lyndon B. Johnson's "Great Society."
neoconservatism is a failure
greens are just socialists
We need the grassroots that Ron Paul has in the LP, then we will have the Ron Paul effect, but without a time limit
thanks
