At the PA/NJ convention, when asked what it means to be a Libertarian?" Dan Imperato was completely serious when he answered (paraphrasing), "To me, it means you paid $15 and joined."

I have to think that the two latest candidates, Barr and Gravel, won't know why I find Imperato's answer humorous, nor why I lump those three candidates into the same category.

If the LP wants to usurp the rEVOLution, they will need to understand that it is the message about individual rights, and less so state's rights, that moves us.

Bob Barr is not a good choice for a message bearer, especially when there are several other libertarian messengers in the race that abhor the initiation of force as a means of achieving social or political goals at both the federal and state level.
