I have prompted my county members to start their recruiting efforts for new members among their friends, co-workers and families. I personally sent in 15 party affiliation forms for people I know to switch to Libertarian. If we can't get the people closest to us to support us, we are lost. I think we should also concentrate on getting independents to switch to Libertarian as a form of protest voting. They have already showed their dissatisfaction with the status quo. We have to get these voters to realize that there is a third viable option to the duoply.

Good start. Better Question: Why are we as libertarians sitting on our hands not getting organized...

The biggest problem we have is that we are scattered likes sticks to the wind. There needs to be a hard core approach to this.

In theory, the next 12 months, we could really make an impact. Establishing Libertarian Parties in each of the 21 counties, including county committee's and municipal chairs. But it would require determination to get it done.

We may not be able to make a difference on a National Level, but damnit we can definitely make a difference on the state level.

Imagine Gadsden's Flag flying over the state house in Trenton? That can be a reality if we put our noses to the grind wheel and really start focusing our efforts.
