In NJ where the subsidized health care system is riddled with holes and workers' compensation is managed by incompetent jurists; the huge bureaucracy that is the NJ state government is now supposed to take responsibility for another program which will inevitably be riddled with holes and bogged down by incompetence and laziness.

Everyone thinks "Yeay, if a loved one gets sick or I have a child then I can take off from work for six weeks on paid leave!" What they should be thinking is "Oh Crap, the state is going to tax me to fund a program that if I wished to enter I would have to fill out confusing and redundant paperwork, navigate an apathetic bureaucracy, and pray that I get the check due to me before I run out of money."

Show me a government program that functions properly and efficiently in NJ and I will show you 5 that don't.
