April 12, 2023Hon. Mark Taylor, Mayor and members of theFlorham Park Borough Council111 Ridgedale AveFlorham Park, NJ  07932via e-mail only to dlewis at fpboro.netDear Mayor Taylor and Council members:Attached is my November 15, 2010 letter to then-Mayor R. Scott Eveland and the Borough Council seeking repeal of § 150-2 of the Borough Code together with other code provisions that attempt to regulate "street conduct."  Also attached is then-Borough Administrator Nancy Gage's undated letter in which she indicated that the Borough agreed with my position and "will be introducing Ordinances to effect these changes in the new year."Despite a dozen years having elapsed, I note that § 150-2 is still in the Borough's code.  Do you think that you could have your present Borough Attorney review the matter and draft the necessary repealer?Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.
